Sequoya Commons is a retailer’s dream come true. An award-winning, urban infill project that has a lot of people doing a lot of finger-pointing. Of course, pointing to Sequoya as the mixed-use model that every developer should duplicate. With a focus on independent retailers who cater to diverse audiences, with an outreach to a multitude of neighborhoods, the retail and commercial opportunities at Sequoya are sensational.
Our guess is that it probably has something to do with what we call our Tenant’s Tenets. The businesses that lease from Avante Properties at Sequoya Commons want traffic and they get plenty of it. They also want pull – meaning diverse neighborhoods they can pull from. They also want a landlord they can trust to do the right things, to be responsive and forthright. That pretty much sums us up.
